Is It Late?

I woke up early this morning to rush off to Church for the early morning Easter Service. It was exciting rushing off to meet friends and to chat with the person I refer to as my creator and maker. All day I thought about the purpose of my life and how I could so easily just let my life pass me by if I was to sit in the passenger seat and I really dont mind. It’s odd you must think but for someone like me who is forever running, it’s a pleasant thought.I’m at the mercy of the world and therefore love these moments of solitude when I can be with myself and I’m not driven by what the world wants of me. I’m always running to meet someone’s expectation and that stinks. At work, it’s to cope with those around me, at home, it’s the home life and chores, on the roads, it’s the traffic and chaos and the only real place where I can be me is on my own. That’s probably how I took to the camera. I’m not defined by man, time or space. I shoot as I feel led and I walk where my feet take me. The only constraint is time but I love those moments when I have time to myself. To answer the title of this blog, I’m always late for the world but on time for myself. I wonder if its the same for you?img_1289.jpg

  1. True, the most precious times are the rare and stolen moments by oneself – hard to come by in these busy times, but the sweetness of these moments can leave us looking forward to the next time. Savor these memories that you find through your lens by looking back and remembering…how you felt and where you were…you can feel free again.
